As we emerge from the pandemic disruption, even the best coaches are forced to adapt and redesign our practices. Staying at the edge of our learning and curiosity is how we will stay relevant. It’s no longer about being a good coach in the right time zone – coaches must be willing to update skills and change mindsets. In the new future of coaching, performance is at the forefront, not just development. Coaches realise the need to build a relationship quickly to coach in a performance-driven way and justify return on investment.
In this session, we’ll take a multi-dimensional approach to redesign coaching through the lenses of coaching practitioners and organisations, including external and internal coaches:
Dr Brian O. Underhill is the Founder and CEO of CoachSource, the world’s largest executive coaching provider, with over 1,100 coaches worldwide. Brian is the co-editor of Mastering Executive Coaching (Routledge, 2019) and author of Executive Coaching for Results: The Definitive Guide to Developing Organizational Leaders (Berrett-Koehler, 2007).
Stephanie Laplante is an executive coach and speaker. She frequently speaks on building a coaching culture and leading transformational change based on her experiences as an executive and in organisational development. Stephanie designed GSK’s executive coaching strategy.
Jeff Nally is the VP/Global Coaching Community at CoachSource, an executive coach, coach supervisor, speaker, and author. Jeff has 28 years of professional experience in HR, executive coaching, and leadership development in corporations. Jeff has been a featured speaker at SHRM, The Conference Board, and other executive coaching conferences.
Eva Kovacs is an executive coach, speaker, and supervisor. She has a 25 year international career in HR, talent management, and executive coaching. She led GSK’s internal coaching function, and designed various award winning coaching programmes.
